A Guide to Veils

When we put on a veil, we have that emotional moment of "everything is starting to feel real". It is our favourite moment in the fitting room to share with our brides and families. When our bride is genuinely beginning to get that feeling she will have on her wedding day. Butterflies, happiness and the joy of stepping down the aisle and seeing their forever at the other end. 

The tradition of a veil plays a part in our feeling, our memories of mothers and grandmothers wedding photos with exquisite veils and head pieces. 

The style choice is just as important; the veil chosen has to feel right with the gown.

A guide to Hera Couture veil length

Cathedral length - 3m 

Blusher - typically 1m long piece that either rests over the face or is pushed back to waterfall over the main piece of the veil. 

Chapel length - 2m-2.5m

Fingertip length - 1m
