If you'd like a completely original gown, Katie can create a bespoke wedding dress for your special day.
This may involve combining different aspects of our current designs or collaborating with Katie to create a special dress that is unique to you, your personality and wedding.

The consultation
Everything starts with a conversation. You will meet Katie one-on-one at our Auckland flagship to talk through the gown you have imagined - the silhouette, the fabrics, the details you have been collecting, and how you want to feel on the day.
Design Stage
From that conversation Katie sketches your gown, and once the design is settled we will begin creation of your bespoke piece in the Hera atelier.
Fittings and finishing
With our talented team we fit your gown to your body, a gown crafted with only you in mind.
Our seamstresses take care of any final adjustments and refinements in the weeks before your wedding. Ensuring each detail is utter perfection when you walk down the aisle to your love.
A custom wedding dress is a truly beautiful work of art.
It requires hours of delicate, precise hand work by our team of dedicated and experienced bridal seamstresses and artisans. Due to the amount of craftsmanship and time required, Katie and her team will only create around twelve custom wedding dresses per year and only from our Auckland Flagship Showroom. Allow nine to twelve months from the first consultation to your final fitting. We can sometimes work to a shorter timeline, please get in touch as early as you can.
Katie and her expert team will guide you through how many fittings are needed, based on your specific creation, location and timeline. We plan for two to three fittings in the 8 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Yes. Sketches, photographs, a family heirloom, a fabric you have fallen for. Anything that helps us understand the gown you have in mind is welcome.
