Lukanne + Jason

My name is Lukanne, and my husband, Jason, and I met in such a fitting way—it was at a wedding! Having been a bridesmaid more times than I can count, it was during one of those weddings that Jason and I met. We were both in the bridal party for mutual friends, and what started as casual conversations during the wedding prep eventually grew into a love story of our own.

My gowns from Hera Couture was everything I dreamed of and more. For my first gown I wanted something that was fully beaded and sparkled at our ceremony. I showed the lovely stylists at Hera pictures of what I wanted and they pulled features from three different dresses, the intricate bead work from one dress, the neckline and silhouette from another and the beautiful fabric from another. They made the perfect dress for me and I couldn’t be more grateful. I can’t forget to mention the delicate veil that completed the look.

For brides-to-be, my advice is to trust your instincts and take your time with the process. Choose gowns that not only look stunning but also make you feel comfortable and true to yourself. At the end of the day, it’s all about how the dress makes you feel.
