Victor and I got married on Saturday 10 January 2026 after being together for eight years. We actually met on a night out at Crown Melbourne, so it felt really special that we spent our wedding weekend there getting ready with our closest friends and family before everything began.

Our ceremony was at Billilla Mansion and Gardens in Brighton and our reception was at Carousel in Albert Park. The overall vibe of the day was modern but romantic with classic white styling, timeless, elegant and simple.

I discovered Hera Couture while dress shopping at Raffaele Ciuca. At the beginning I wasn’t really sure what style I was looking for, so I tried on a bit of everything before realising that simple but elevated felt the most like me which is when the Vienna set first caught my eye.

I was lucky enough to meet Katie when she visited for a trunk show, and being able to work with her to customise elements of my dress was such a special experience. We added the custom bolero with chantilly lace to match the lace in the gown, along with the continuation of the tulle ruching. The sleeves finished in a lace finger point which was a direct homage to my mum’s wedding dress. We also added pearl buttons, which felt really meaningful as pearls are my birthstone. Katie even matched the veil with a lace trim so everything tied together perfectly!

Keeping the dress a secret from Victor while I went through the custom process was honestly the hardest part there were so many times I wanted to tell him what it looked like or even the style. But seeing his reaction alongside everyone elses on the day made it completely worth it!
