“We met in Blenheim in 2017. We moved into the same flat and couldn’t stop hanging out together! We would go on heaps of adventures and hikes any time we had a chance and our relationship grew from there :)”

Liv: “I chose the Amina, when trying it on, my friends’ reactions were huge, straight away saying “that’s the one!”. I instantly loved how it made me feel so confident and it enhanced aspects of my shape. Before trying dresses on, I had no idea what my style was, I was open to anything and picked something I never thought I’d choose for myself but absolutely loved it! Tips for others: definitely have an open mind and don’t be afraid to ask the team what they think you may look great in!”

Em: “I tried on sooo many dresses. I really liked the ‘off the shoulder’ style but couldn’t quite find the ‘one’ that I felt amazing in. I feel like Jackie could see what I was envisioning and offered the option of combining two dresses. I ended up choosing the corset of the La Belle and the skirt of the Vivienne. I just loved the simplicity and elegance of the Vivienne skirt and the soft neckline of the La Belle corset! When I tried my gown on for the first time, I felt so excited and I think my friends could see in my face that it was everything that I wanted! Everything was altered perfectly to make the gown feel like it was made for me. Honestly, a tip from me is to trust anyone at Hera to make you look and feel amazing! :)”

Tell us about the most special part of your wedding day.

Liv: “Seeing Em for the first time at our first look. Knowing we’d finally made it to the day after all that planning and seeing how stunning she looked!” Em: “Mine was doing our private vows together before the ceremony, it was such a special moment that I’ll never forget!”

Liv: “I really loved the customer experience with Hera. Knowing all alterations happened onsite made things so easy! I loved that you could tailor aspects and change what you wanted, as well as a huge range to choose from. Everything felt very high in quality and added to my confidence knowing I’d be able to trust the dress no matter what!”

Em: “I had the best experience – everyone was so friendly and made me feel great. All of the stylists are so knowledgeable and just know what works! I also want to personally thank Jackie for being so patient with me! I popped in and called the store so many times and she was always so understanding and helpful :)”
