Looking gorgeous in a Hera Couture Bespoke Gown
My beautiful Hera bespoke gown was everything and so much more!
Logan and I met in our final years of high school, dated for a few years & as life was went our separate ways… fast forward 5 years later, the weekend of my move to Auckland to start my dream job we bumped into each other that night out with friends and the rest is history. A beautiful home & two fur babies later Logan proposed to me at home one Friday afternoon in April of 2021 & it has been the most magical few years engaged then married to my best friend in January of 2023 and now very soon to be expecting our little girl due in August.
My beautiful Hera bespoke custom gown was everything and so much more! Design features from this later inspired the Gelsomina gown. I wanted quietly dramatic, princess like dress yet modern. The final design that Katie and I landed on made me feel the most beautiful, confident & fairytale like on our dream day.
If I have just one tip for future brides it is definitely to try on absolutely every style as you can be pleasantly surprised but most importantly choose your dream wedding dress based on the one that makes you feel the most special – and believe me you will know when that moment hits you.
Martinborough sits in the beautiful Wairarapa an hour out of Wellington, it has always held a special place in Logan & I’s heart – many many family trips & incredible memories have been made here. Situated at the end of the winery strip along Puruatanga Road sits a quaint little tasting room with incredible food & even better wine, run by the most amazing couple Phil & Carolyn – a hidden little section through the vines was where we said our “I Do’s”, canapés & cocktails flowed followed by a 3 course dinner, speeches & we all danced the night away…
Our dream day was everything & so much more – we wanted a timeless, minimalistic yet fun day with everyone we love in which all of our wedding vendors were incredible at doing & made planning this wedding by myself absolutely seamless & nailed every brief!
A truly magical day!
