Ry was my twin brother’s friend, so I knew of him through Matt. When I moved back to Palmerston North for University, our friend groups merged and Ry quickly became one of my best friends. As a friend group, we hung out for well over two years before Ry and I decided to turn our friendship into a relationship… and the rest is history!

I always wanted a low back and I loved the style with draping at the front. At first, I was convinced that I wanted a halter neck dress, however once I tried Maggio on, I fell in love with it straight away. It’s absolutely gorgeous, you can tell the high quality of the dress as soon as you touch it… It made me feel like a celebrity about to walk the red carpet. The other thing I LOVE with the dress is the detail! Every part of this dress has something special about it, from the pearls at the back, the sweetheart neckline, the low back and the slit in the front.

The whole day was incredible, you really can’t go wrong with Mudbrick! If I had to pick, I loved the speeches and also following the ceremony when the bridal party stayed up at the lodge while everyone else went down to the restaurant. We were all just chatting, dancing and practising our walk-ins. We’re all very uncoordinated so it was very ‘us’ as a friend group.

I 100000% recommend Hera Couture. Saina was my stylist for my first fitting and she was wonderful. She made sure to get my thoughts before opening the curtains to family and friends which was really helpful as you can get persuaded based on what others are saying. This did happen and Saina brought me back to my original point of view of loving the Maggio as soon as I put it on and I’m SO GLAD she did. But overall, the whole team are absolutely incredible. So happy, friendly and every experience was personalised, I wish I could do it all over again. Every time I came in for a fitting, they made sure my dress was beautifully on display too.
