Adam & I were introduced by a mutual friend. We then begun our relationship when our friend groups all happened to be in Queenstown over Winter together.
My journey to finding the perfect Florence gown happened quite unexpectedly. While trying on dresses at a stockist in Sydney, I came across it on a rack—something I hadn’t even noticed on the website. The moment I slipped it on, I fell in love. As someone who’s very fashion-conscious, I immediately knew I wanted to make a few alterations to truly make it my own. Interestingly, I never imagined that I would be drawn to a simpler style, but it felt so elegant and timeless. I adored the idea of enhancing it with accessories like a scarf and a custom veil.
For future brides, my advice is to set aside your preconceived notions and try on a wide variety of styles; you might be surprised by what captures your heart! And don’t underestimate the power of accessories—they truly transformed my dress!
The ceremony (our vows in particular) & having our dog Zara as our ring-bearer. It was so special & she was so well behaved!
