Waldo and I met back in 2020 after the pandemic had hit when we matched on tinder, the first time we ever met we laughed and talked for hours and hours. He was like my best friend instantly and it felt as if we had known each other forever. Flash forward a couple of weeks and we decided we would give it a proper go, we have been inseparable ever since and I cannot imagine my life without him. He is the best partner, supporter and friend I could ever ask for. He loves me so endlessly and he treats friends, family and even strangers with that same love and respect which is one of my favourite things about him.

The Helix dress was one of the very first dresses I saw when we got engaged or even maybe slightly before! I knew I wanted something elegant and quite timeless but had a little special something. The moment I tried it on, the fabric just blew me away… it was so light and pearly, just so gorgeous! Then I tried on different types of sleeves and eventually fell in love with the look of the june top. It felt so timeless and elegant but something a little bit different at the same time. We then added a pearl detail on the sleeves to tie in the back of the dress and I wore it with a cathedral length charlotte lace trimmed veil and it felt so European and beautiful. I was so obsessed with the look.

I think such a special part of our day was walking down the aisle and seeing each other for the first time. We stuck to tradition and didn’t stay together the night before or do a first look. I always knew there was a good chance I would cry walking down the aisle but Waldo crying made me even more emotional. I don’t even remember seeing anyone but him, our eyes were locked the entire time and it felt so intimate and special to share that moment with the people we love most.
