From concept sketches and fittings, to the stunning final look on her wedding day, we loved working with Anna to design her bespoke Hera Couture jumpsuit, complete with a custom overskirt.

Anna & Stu’s Love Story
We met in the most romantic way possible… Tinder! Stu and I had many mutual friends, including my sister! So it seemed inevitable that we would meet one day.
For the proposal, the two of us and my dog, Blue, went away to his family bach on Kawau Island. Initially, he was going to land a kingfish , jump out of the water and propose… The weather didn’t play ball with his cheesy plans, so he ended up asking me in front of the house.
I didn’t quite escape the fish themed proposal… He asked if I’d do him the honour of being the biggest “catch” of his life!
Our vision for the wedding was a simple, Italian long afternoon/evening. The decor was inspired by Amano restaurant, as we love their dried florals and saved so much by doing the arrangements ourselves. It was extra work, but we couldn’t have been happier with the result!
Anna’s Bespoke Gown
I always knew my wedding dress would be something I could wear over and over. I love wearing pants, but also wanted to feel like a princess, so after some extensive Pinterest-ing the jumpsuit with detachable skirt came about.
When searching for the perfect designer, Hera Couture really embodied the class and style I was after. Katie and her team worked their magic to turn my idea into the most perfect gown I could have dreamed of.
She created something truly unique that no one had ever worn before, and I absolutely love it!
Thank you once again, and such a massive credit to Katie and the wonderful Hera Couture team for making my bridal dream a reality. I look forward to wearing my jumpsuit for years to come!
