Katie’s values carry through every aspect of her work – from being open and inclusive in how she deals with people, to how she designs. Her collections include specific features unique to every body type, and gowns come in colour variations for different skin tones. She also makes sure that she design for individual style preferences.

Fashion is how you represent yourself and what you wear reflects your personality – looking fabulous shouldn’t be restricted to a certain type of woman.

With women from Asia, Europe, Africa, America and Australia (and NZ!), and ranging from size 8 to size 16, tall and short, Celebrating You is an amazing reflection of the true scope of femininity. We were also overwhelmed with the personal stories from our models during the shoot. From studying marine biology, to costume designing, a ball room dancing star, and an opera singer, we related to one another’s experiences and their highs and lows of life. Because underneath the surface we’re all the same.

Hera Couture stocks a full range of sizes (0-36) so you’ll never have to ‘imagine’ what a dress will look like on you. With higher backs to hide a bra, floaty sleeves, nipped in waists to emphasise beautiful hour glass shapes, or floaty skirts to skim hips, each collection has something for all body types.

Above all, Katie wants women to understand they don’t have to change and that everyone has the potential to stand up, inspire, and be an icon.
